呼吸器内科の臨床経験を積んだ後でUS FDAに5年半の留学経験があり、腫瘍免疫療法についての基礎研究、新薬審査を行い、研究成果は学会発表を海外で行いました。帰国後は、臨床研究の範囲を熱帯感染症に広げ、ザンビア共和国でのマラリア疫学研究にも関わりました。縁あって2019年1月から大和市立病院呼吸器内科に臨床医として着任しましたが、国際色豊かなこの地域に懐かしさを感じております。2021年頃から我が国でも発生したCOVID-19パンデミックでは、コロナ病棟長として診察を行いました。
この地域の皆様が、少しでも心地よく、生活が出来るようにお力になりたいと思い開業に至りました。よろしくお願い致します。

About the Director, Satoshi Inoue, MD, Ph.D

After gaining clinical experience in respiratory medicine, I studied abroad at the US FDA for five years and a half, conducting basic research on tumor immunotherapy and new drug development. My research findings were presented at academic conferences overseas. After returning to Japan, I expanded the scope of my clinical research to tropical infectious diseases and conducted malaria epidemiology research in the Republic of Zambia. I joined the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Yamato Municipal Hospital as a clinical doctor in January 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in Japan around 2021, I served as the head of the coronavirus ward. I decided to open my own clinic in the hopes of helping to make life as comfortable as possible for the people of this region. Thank you for your continued support.

ご挨拶

私は東京都中野区に生まれ、小さい頃はよく２階の窓から中野サンプラザを見て育ちました。
そして 医師となり、呼吸器内科医として出発しました。
その後、日本が豊かだったころに米国に留学しました。当時、それまではLPレコードの写真でしか知らなかった大好きな海外のアーティスト（ジャーニー、フィルコリンズなど）が、動いている姿をテレビで目にし、カルチャーショックを受けたのは良い思い出です。
また、2001年9月に起こった世界貿易センターで起きたテロ事件後、職場のセキュリティが急に厳しくなり、平和であることのありがたさを実感しました。
その間、研究業務は軌道に乗り、予定であった2年間を大幅に超える5年半を米国で過ごしました。帰国後は海外の経験が買われ、大学病院での臨床、研究、教育と多岐に渡る経験をしてまいりました。
縁あって大和市立病院呼吸器内科に着任しましたが、国際色豊かなこの地域に懐かしさを感じております。
この地域の皆様が、少しでも心地よく、生活が出来るようにお力になりたいと思い開業に至りました。よろしくお願い致します。

Message from the Director

I was born in Nakano City, Tokyo, and spent my childhood there. One of my fondest memories is looking out from the second-floor window of my home and seeing the Nakano Sunplaza, a well-known local landmark.

After becoming a physician, I began my career as a respiratory specialist. Later, I had the opportunity to study in the United States at a time when Japan was enjoying a period of economic prosperity. During my stay, I experienced many cultural differences. I still remember the excitement of seeing my favorite international artists, such as Journey and Phil Collins, performing on television—until then, I had only seen them on LP record covers.

Following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in September 2001, security measures at my workplace became much stricter. That experience made me truly appreciate the importance of peace and stability in our daily lives.

My research progressed successfully, and what was originally planned as a two-year stay in the United States eventually became five and a half years. After returning to Japan, I was able to apply my international experience in a variety of roles at a university hospital, including clinical practice, medical research, and education.

Later, I joined the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Yamato Municipal Hospital. I have always felt a sense of familiarity with this culturally diverse community, which reminds me of my experiences abroad.

With a desire to contribute to the health and well-being of the people in this community and help them enjoy healthier and more comfortable lives, I decided to open this clinic.
